Overview
This private 10-day/9-night tour is perfect for families and friends, combining the adventure of wildlife with the relaxation of beach time. Starting and ending in Nairobi, the tour includes visits to Mount Kenya National Park, Aberdare National Park, Lake Naivasha, and concludes at the renowned Diani Beach. Travel is via a private tour van with flights to and from Ukunda. All meals are provided on a full-board basis.
Itinerary
After breakfast, depart Nairobi at around 7 a.m. and travel north via Thika Road to Aberdare Country Club. Arrive in time for lunch and spend the afternoon enjoying the hotel facilities like the swimming pool and beautiful gardens. Optionally, take an evening walking safari in the club's game sanctuary or enjoy a romantic sundowner on Mwiga Hill.

Spend the day at leisure. In the evening, embark on a game drive within Aberdare National Park, home to elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, and more. Bird watching opportunities are abundant with over 250 species, including Jackson's Francolin and various eagles and sunbirds.

Enjoy the morning at leisure. After lunch, take an afternoon game drive in Aberdare National Park before transferring to The Ark, a tree hotel resembling Noah's Ark. The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, attracting diverse wildlife visible from your room's balcony.

After breakfast, check out of The Ark and head to Naivasha. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon boat ride. Return to the hotel for dinner and a leisurely evening.

Depart after breakfast and drive to Nairobi to catch a local flight to Ukunda, Diani Beach. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel in time for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure.

Spend the day at your own pace. Optional activities include a full-day trip to Wasini Island for snorkeling and dolphin watching, a glass-bottom boat ride, jet skiing, scuba diving, or kite surfing. You can also use the beautiful scenery for a honeymoon photo session.
