Embark on a Kenyan adventure unlike any other with the “Roan Antelope Safari”! This 10-day journey takes you from the vast plains of the Maasai Mara to the hidden gem of Ruma National Park. Witness the iconic wildebeest migration on the Serengeti, and witness the thrill of a hot air balloon safari over the landscape. Seek out the elusive Roan Antelope and Oribi in Ruma National Park before unwinding on the idyllic Rusinga Island, where days are filled with birdwatching, boat rides, and cultural exploration. Wrap up your adventure in Kisumu, exploring the city’s vibrant culture and visiting the hippo haven of Hippo Point. This safari promises an unforgettable blend of wildlife encounters, relaxation, and cultural immersion.
Today, we journey south from Nairobi, passing through the Great Rift Valley and continuing towards Narok, a town near the Maasai Mara area. Along the way, we witness Maasai villages on the Loita Plains before reaching the vast Serengeti plains, home to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. After lunch and some leisure time, we embark on an evening game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Early in the morning, guests participating in the balloon flight experience are picked up from the camp and driven to the launch site. After a safety briefing and witnessing the balloons being prepared for take-off, guests enjoy a picturesque bush breakfast in the Kenyan style. Following breakfast, there's time for leisure activities before an evening game drive, followed by dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
We start the day with an early morning game drive, offering the opportunity to witness predators in action and capture stunning photographs in the vibrant landscape. After a full day game drive to the Mara triangle with a packed lunch, we return to the lodge for dinner and an evening at leisure.
Today, we depart from Maasai Mara and drive to Homa Bay before continuing to Ruma National Park, known for its rare Roan Antelope and Oribi. Upon arrival, we settle in at the hotel in Homa bay for dinner and leisure time in the evening.
After breakfast, we embark on a short safari to Rusinga Island, where we spend the afternoon enjoying the scenery and amenities at the lodge.
These two days are dedicated to leisure activities at the lodge, including bird watching, boat rides, fishing, and visits to local villages.

Following breakfast, we transfer to the port for a boat ride to Kisumu City, where we enjoy a city tour, visiting attractions such as the Impala sanctuary, Lake Victoria, hippo point, and Dunga beach. In the evening, we check into the hotel for dinner and leisure time.
Today, guests have the morning at leisure before transferring to the airport for an afternoon flight back to Nairobi.
