5:00 am. Your driver/guide will pick you up at your hotel or the location of your choice. Hop into your private 4 x 4 Safari Jeep and we’ll head for the park, passing the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Along our route, we’ll enjoy a breakfast stop and collect our packed lunches for the day.

We’ll be heading into Masai country and you may spot herdsmen wrapped in their colorful shukas, as we near the reserve.

We should get to the park in the mid-morning and proceed for a an extended game viewing drive until early evening when you check into your accommodation.

Your driver/guide will share his knowledge of this beautiful land and the variety of wildlife you’re sure to encounter.

If you have any special requests, areas, or wildlife you’d like to see, be sure and let him know.

Your safari lodge or Camp accommodation shall provide dinner and relaxation from the day’s adventures.

Welcome to safari time – we’ll get up early to view the first golden light and the stirrings of the park’s wildlife. Today, we’ll enjoy maximum viewing with unlimited game drives across the vast savannahs.

We’ll be tracking the big cats along with elephants, giraffes, buffalos, and the other 95 mammals found in this world-famous park.

If you’re here during the Great Migration (July – October), you’ll encounter the most fantastic movement of animals on our planet. Thousands of zebra, gazelle, and wildebeest cross into the park over the Mara River on their timeless parade searching for taller grasses to consume.

The river is also home to pods of hippos and waiting crocodiles, eyeing the vast herds crossing into their territory.

If you would like to add a cultural aspect to your Masai Mara safari, tell your driver/guide to arrange a visit with the Maasai in their local village. This optional experience will allow you to learn about these native people and see their homes up close.

For the most unique safari experience in the world, sign up for the optional early morning hot air balloon ride over the Mara. Watch the rising sun break over the park, lighting up the fields and the wildlife below. Your driver/guide can make all the arrangements.

After breakfast, you shall proceed to Nairobi on a leisurely drive with stops to view landscapes and attractions along the way.

This morning / day, you may make optional tours at an extra cost as follows:

1)Masai village visit = $ 20 per person.

2)Hot air Balloon flight over the Masai Mara Plains = $ 460 Per person.

3)A Visit to Kiambethu Tea Farm + Lunch en-route = $ 35 per person.

We’ll stop for lunch on the way to the city, along with other rest stops.

The drive will give you plenty of time to dwell on and talk about your 3 days of Masai Mara adventure.

We will be back in Nairobi in the early afternoon and bring you to your hotel, the airport, or place of your choosing.
